Cooly Classic Event UpdateHi swimmers,The swell has increased significantly overnight. We held our final conditions assessments at all our beaches this morning with our Surf Life Saving partners. Unfortunately, we cannot hold any events today, even with alternative courses - all events have been cancelled for today. We are so sorry that this decision didn’t come earlier, but yesterday was quite a different picture with our clinics being held and conditions still favourable. We know you will all be disappointed and many of you have traveled a great distance to be here, so we really do apologies that we couldn't make this decision any earlier - we wanted to give the event evry chance of going ahead. We will be in touch with all swimmers in the next 48 hours with the next steps regarding your entry and any opportunities for an alternative date. Team WSS |
