Next Stop, the Cooly Classic
Hey gang,
Conditions at Mooloolaba yesterday were dreamy! It really was a cracking day for the 13th annual Mooloolaba Mile - photo's from Sunday are now available, CLICK HERE to view these.
If you swam at Moololaba, we'd also like your help with a short survey being conducted by Sunshine Coast Council - they'd love to find out more about your stay and your epic support crew that comes with you to our events.
Next stop, the Cooly Classic on Sunday April 13! On Saturday, Michael Klim and special guests will be hosting open water clinics at Kirra Beach, at 8:00am and 10:00am. Then on Sunday, the big one, the 2025 Cooly Classic with four distances on offer and one of the most picturesque courses you will find.
Get involved!

The 16th Annual Cooly Classic
Your Start line, Snapper Rocks, is one of the world’s most famous surf breaks. Then, your course is a straight line to Kirra Beach, passing Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta Beaches as you swim.
There are four distances, from 1km to 5km, but it’s always the 2.0km Cooly Classic from Snapper Rocks to Kirra Beach which attracts the masses.
Regardless of which distance you choose, you’re guaranteed to experience the crystal clear waters of Southern Gold Coast in autumn and that’s a must-do for any swimmer.
Take a look at our video on the Cooly Classic page and see for yourself…
