Next Stop, Cooly!
G'day gang,
It's a short turn-around between events in QLD with the 13th annual Cooly Classic now less than two weeks away. If you haven't swum a Cooly Classic...you should! This course is a deadset stunner.
Your Start line, Snapper Rocks, is one of the world’s most famous surf breaks. Then, your course is a straight line to Kirra Beach, passing Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta as you swim.
Regardless of which distance you choose, you’re guaranteed to experience the crystal clear waters of Southern Gold Coast in autumn and that’s a must-do for any swimmer.

How to Enter
There are four distances, from 1km to 5km, but it’s always the 2.0km Cooly Classic from Snapper Rocks to Kirra Beach which attracts the masses.
Late entries begin at 5:00pm Monday, so get an entry in this week to save a few bucks and secure a 2022 tee!

Ready to Race Sessions
Phil Clayton & Co. will be hosting two ‘Ready to Race’ sessions on Saturday April 9th.
These sessions, 9am & 4pm, are an excellent opportunity to get expert coaching, tips & tricks in the same location as the main event on Sunday.

The Cooly Classic Courses
The 2.0km Cooly Classic course spans four of Queensland’s most well known beaches – Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Bay, Coolangatta and Kirra. From the world famous Snapper Rocks surf break you’ll swim West past Greenmount and Coolangatta beaches and onto your final turn directly in front of Kirra Beach.
