Take an aerial tour of the Cooly Classic...

The Cooly Classic, Presented by Milk & Co, boasts some of Australia’s most famous beaches and surf breaks as it's backdrop – Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Bay, Coolangatta and Kirra.

In 2018, the Commonwealth Games take over the Gold Coast during April, so the Cooly Classic moves to May 13 – Mothers Day!

All roads lead to Kirra, but you can take your pick from a 1km course from Coolangatta Beach, or 2km & 3km courses starting at Snapper Rocks.

Cooly 1000

The Cooly 1000 is a 1.0km short course option from Coolangatta to Kirra Beach.

This is a perfect introduction for less experienced ocean swimmers and also includes our Junior Giants category, for swimmers aged 10-16 years.

Cooly Classic 2.0

The Cooly Classic 2.0 is without doubt the main event. 

Starting at the popular Snapper Rocks surf break, the course follows the coast north passing Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta enroute to the finish at legendary Kirra Beach.
