2020 Mooloolaba Swim Festival | Mar 7 - 8

It's the most popular short course swim in Queensland and the 8th annual Mooloolaba Mile is now only four weeks away!

In 2020 we’re proud to partner with Wishlist, a Sunshine Coast organisation dedicated to fundraising for the needs of our local health service.

Every swimmer who fundraises more than $200 will receive a free entry into an event of their choice on either March 7 or 8.

2.5km Alex to Mooloolaba (Sat)

This is a classic point-to-point ocean swim, from Alexandra Headland to Mooloolaba Beach (A2M).

The course starts at Alex Beach and follows the headland around to Mooloolaba Beach, finishing in front of the famous Loo-with-a-view.

1.6km Mooloolaba Mile (Sun)

This is the big one. One Mile (1.6km) is the most popular open water distance around the globe for a reason – it’s well within reach for beginners and a great time trial for experienced swimmers.

On Sunday there are also 3.0km and short course events.

Swimming Australia Clinic

Join specialist coaches for a free open water clinic in Mooloolaba Bay.

The clinic will be held at Mooloolaba Spit and will be limited to just 40 places - be quick when registrations open!

4WESOME Teams Challenge

Our new ‘4wesome Teams Challenge’ allows you to swim the Mooloolaba Mile as an individual (from any wave group), but compete as a team – the fastest combined time wins (all four swimmers).

The prizes - free entries for 2021!
