Here we come Cooly!
Hey gang,
Not long now, only one week to go until the 16th annual Cooly Classic!
There are four distances on offer, from the Cooly 1000 to the big one, the Cooly 5.0. The crowd favourite is still the 2.0km Cooly Classic though - a straight line from Snapper Rocks to Kirra Beach, swimming along the world famous 'superbank'.
Your Start line, Snapper Rocks (pictured above), is one of Australia's most celebrated surf breaks. Then your course is a straight line to Kirra Beach, passing Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta beaches as you swim.
If you need some expert tips & tricks before the big day, get involved in the KlimSwim Open Water Clinics on Saturday at Kirra Beach. These cater for all abilities and are hosted by some amazing coaches, including former Olympic swimmers Adam Pine and Michael Klim.
