The Klim Foundation

The Klim Foundation, established by World Champion swimmer and Olympic Gold Medallist Michael Klim (himself a CIDP sufferer) and entrepreneur Michelle Owen (caretaker), is here to raise awareness of CIDP while also providing information and support for those with CIDP, caretakers, and health professionals.

All swimmers have an opportunity to fundraise, donate or support The Klim Foundation when they complete their swim entry online, through the Grassrootz platform.

About CIDP

CIDP is a rare neurological disorder that attacks our body’s nerve fibres, numbing and weakening arm and leg muscles and striking down thousands of Australians – and possibly millions globally.Darkness surrounds the disorder. Currently there is no known therapeutic solution. Or united medical effort to find one.

CIDP is a rare neurological condition that affects strength, mobility and independence over time.

Our goal for Cooly Classic is $50,000.

You can be part of it in two ways – Donate as an individual, or build a team and raise funds together.
