#1: Become a Junior Giant
It's a blast! Taking on our 800m Junior Giants course with your mates is heaps of fun, your parents can also join in and cross the finish line with you. We'll have some sweet prizes from Engine Swimwear and DMC Fins up for grabs too!

#2: The best beginners course
800m at Mooloolaba Beach is as good a place as any to do your first ocean swim, or get some open water practice. It's a point to point swim, but you only swim approx 150m offshore, all inside the sheltered bay of Mooloolaba

#3: The One Mile Challenge
It's the most popular distance around the globe for a reason - so many different abilities and fitness levels can conquer this one. The giant M-shaped course also gives you the thrill of a point-to-point swim, without going out around headlands or too far offshore

#4: 3.0km...step up!
If you recently conquered a 2km swim at Noosa, this is your next challenge!
The Mooloolaba 3.0 is a popular distance and a great step up from shorter swims.

#5: 5.0km - the new black
This is the big one, a 5.0km marathon distance swim. The Mooloolaba 5.0 will be contested by some of Australia?s most talented pool and open water swimmers.
The multi-lap course around the sheltered waters of Mooloolaba Beach and Mooloolaba Spit provides an excellent location to push your limits beyond the typical open water distances.
