Age Categories (Results)

• 300m Junior Giants: 8-11, 12-15
• Noosa 1.0: 10-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
• Noosa 2.0. 3.0, 5.0: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Wave Start Groups

Below are the wave start groups available. Each group will also be split into Male & Female waves.

• Elite Wave: For Elite swimmers competing for overall places & prizemoney
• Age Group Waves: Automatic unless you select the Elite or Mates Wave (Age Group Swimmers cannot win overall prizes or prizemoney)
• Mates Wave: Families & friends!

Wetsuit Policy

Wetsuits are not typically allowed in many ocean swimming events, however they are a great buoyancy aid that offer assistance to inexperienced or less confident ocean swimmers.

• Wetsuits are permitted for swimmers entering into Mates Wave and  Age Group Waves
• Wetsuits are not permitted for swimmers entering into the Elite Wave who are competing for overall prizes and prizemoney..

Refund Policy

If any changes are required to the proposed courses, distances, program or in the event of postponement or cancellation, entry fees are non-refundable, this includes credits.

Refunds for withdrawals will only be given pre-event if World Series Swims is notified by email SEVEN DAYS BEFORE EVENT DAY.

All refunds will incur a $10 administration fee per competitor. No refunds will be given WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF EVENT DAY, this includes transfers from one distance to another.

In the event of extreme weather or a COVID related health order that impacts the delivery of the event, the whole event will be postponed to a later date and all entries will be automatically transferred to the new date.
